Itinerary
Your adventure begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Cusco.
Travel northwest through the scenic Andes toward the picturesque village of Chinchero, one of the most traditional communities in the Sacred Valley. Here you’ll visit its archaeological complex, colonial church and local textile interpretation center, where you’ll learn about ancestral weaving techniques preserved for generations.
Continue to the fascinating archaeological site of Moray, an impressive system of circular agricultural terraces believed to have served as an Inca agricultural research center.
Next, visit the world-famous Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt ponds have been cultivated since pre-Inca times. The striking white terraces cascading down the mountainside create one of the most photogenic landscapes in Peru.
Afterward, enjoy a buffet lunch in the town of Urubamba, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon, continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved living Inca towns. Explore its impressive terraces, temples, ceremonial fountains and massive stone constructions while learning about its historical importance as both a military fortress and religious center.
The final stop is the archaeological complex of Pisac, famous for its agricultural terraces, ceremonial temples and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Sacred Valley.
After completing the visit, return comfortably to Cusco, arriving in the early evening.
