Itinerary
Day 1: Coffee Adventure Through the Andes and the Cloud Forest
Your experience begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco — typically between 3:30 am and 5:00 am, depending on the selected route and operator.
Travel by private tourist transportation through the stunning Andean landscapes toward the cloud forests of the Cusco high jungle.
Journey Through the Sacred Valley & Abra Málaga
The scenic drive takes you through the legendary Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing picturesque towns such as Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo — the living Inca city and gateway to Machu Picchu.
Ascend to the Abra Málaga mountain pass, the highest point of the route at 4,316 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and the dramatic transition between the high Andean puna and the lush tropical cloud forest below.
Note: If starting from Ollantaytambo, the journey is approximately 2.5 hours shorter.
Arrival at the Coffee Farm — Huayopata / Quillabamba Region
After approximately 4 hours of travel from Cusco (or 2 hours from Ollantaytambo), arrive at a local family-owned coffee farm nestled in the verdant cloud forests of the La Convención province.
