Itinerary
Your cultural journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at approximately 1:00 pm.
Our first destination is the impressive Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), once considered the most important religious sanctuary of the Inca Empire. Here, your guide will explain how this sacred temple became the foundation of the colonial Convent of Santo Domingo, showcasing one of the finest examples of the architectural fusion between Inca and Spanish civilizations.
Continuing through the city, we travel to the magnificent archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán, famous for its enormous megalithic stones fitted together with astonishing precision. Discover the strategic, ceremonial, and historical significance of this extraordinary fortress while enjoying spectacular panoramic views over the city of Cusco.
