Itinerary
Your cultural experience begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco.
Travel through the scenic Sacred Valley until reaching the traditional Andean village of Chinchero, one of the most important centers of textile production in Peru.
Your first stop is a local Textile Interpretation Center, where skilled artisans demonstrate every stage of traditional Andean weaving.
Learn how alpaca and sheep wool are cleaned, spun by hand, naturally dyed using native plants, insects and minerals, and transformed into colorful textiles through techniques inherited from the Inca civilization.
Visitors are encouraged to participate in the demonstrations while discovering the symbolic meanings behind traditional Andean patterns and designs.
After the textile presentation, continue to the Archaeological Park of Chinchero, where your guide will explain the history of the ancient Inca settlement, its agricultural terraces and ceremonial structures.
