Day 1: Cusco - Km 82 - Wayllabamba
- 04:00 am: Hotel pickup in Cusco
- Transfer to Km 82 (Piscacucho)
- Entry control to the Inca Trail
- Start of the hike
- Visit to Llactapata archaeological site
- Hike through the Urubamba River valley
- Lunch on the way
- Continue to Wayllabamba
- Dinner and campsite
Day 2: Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca Pass - Pacaymayo
- Early breakfast
- Uphill hike to Warmiwañusca Pass
- Highest point of the route (approx. 4215 masl)
- Time to rest and take photos
- Descent to Pacaymayo
- Lunch on the way
- Dinner and campsite
Day 3: Pacaymayo - Wiñay Wayna
- Breakfast
- Hike to Runkurakay archaeological site
- Ascent to the second pass (Runkurakay)
- Descent to Sayacmarca
- Visit to Sayacmarca
- Hike along Inca trails and cloud forest
- Visit to Phuyupatamarca
- Lunch on the way
- Descent to Wiñay Wayna
- Dinner and final night at camp
Day 4: Wiñay Wayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco
- Very early breakfast
- Hike to Inti Punku (Sun Gate)
- First panoramic view of Machu Picchu
- Entrance to Machu Picchu
- Guided tour (approx. 2h)
- Free time for photos
- Bus ride down to Aguas Calientes
- Lunch (optional)
- Return train ride
- Transfer to Cusco
- Arrival in the historic center
